Experiments and Explorations: Making the Grid Paintings v 2.0

This is grid display version 2.0. In summary, I would need another method for working/ display of the pieces. More below:
In making the grid painting, I needed a way to store/exhibit the completed work that is a bit more durable than the foam core easel/frame which moved around a lot and make painting challenging between individual canvas pieces. I purchased birch plywood board from home depot and measured out single nail supports for each canvas. After several months of moving these around, some lessons learned:
if nails go all the way through the board- you can catch them on your hands or other elements
the nails aren't really sturdy enough to hold a canvas in place and tend to slump towards gravity
the individual canvases tend to rotate on the nail, and some tend to slide off.
